Desiree deserves her place In the Spotlight! Coming up on her 2-year anniversary as a group member, she has proved to be a very active and helpful participant. In fact, she dove right in! As a new member she impressed me with her willingness to help. While still pretty new to the group, she offered to run the games at a group party. And she's been consistently helpful every since. Desiree has a great personality and is so easy to talk to! And if you're in the mood to laugh, just go talk to her! She's got a great sense of humor!
Recently, Desiree opened up her home to us for our Mom's Night Out. She pampered us by creating a welcoming atmosphere with relaxing music and great decor. She even sent us home with a "VNP" (very nice present).
Although Desiree has experienced the loss of her mother within the year, she's still managed to stay active in the group and has continued to exhibit her helpfulness by offering support to others. I'm happy to call Desiree a member, a sister in Christ, and a friend.
In addition to having a few nice things said about her, Desiree will also be receiving a small gift as a token of my appreciation for all she's done for our group.
