DFW Secular Homeschoolers May Meeting

Hi, everyone!

This month's meetup will be at the Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie. There's a map on the site. I've moved the time up a little earlier in the day, because it will probably be quite a bit hotter in May than it has been. We will be bringing our lunch and having a picnic, and everyone is welcome to join us, if you like. I have never been there myself, but it sounds great, and here is the description from the web page: Boat ramps, group picnic sites, beaches, volleyball, playground, restrooms, full service marina, driving range, miniature golf (open on weekends). Joe Pool Lake. Two miles south of I-20, use Great Southwest Parkway exit.

Since no one RSVP'd about school days at Scarborough Faire, I've canceled that meetup, and we are having our meetup at a park instead, as mentioned above. I intend to go to Scarborough Faire myself on May 6th, so if anyone ends up going as well, maybe we can meetup and roam around together.

In reference to the Lynn Creek Park meetup, if you intend to come, please, make sure to bring my cell number so you can call me if you are going to be late, and to be sure you can locate us when you arrive. I will have a DFW Secular Homeschoolers sign with me, so I should be easy to identify. My cell is 817-689-5903, and my husband's is 817-564-5715, just in case. We look forward to seeing everyone!
