Q: Who should join this group?

A: This group is open to local homeschoolers - those in Charleston and the surrounding areas.

Q: Where are meetings held?

A: Meetings are usually held in North Charleston or West Ashley.

Q: How often do you meet?

A: At this time, meetings are held once a month. Once we get more members, we can increase the number of meetings and add playdates, etc.

Q: Can I join if I have young preschoolers or infants?

A: Absolutely!

Q: Is this an accountability group?

A: No. This group is NOT to help you satisfy the accountability requirements for an Option 3 homeschooler. This is purely a social activity group.

Q: Is there any particular curriculum (A Beka, Rod and Staff, etc.) or philosophy (such as unschooling, Charlotte Mason, etc.) promoted in your group?

A: No, there isn't. Members are encouraged to discuss whatever curriculum or philosophy they are using or considering - however, please be considerate of the beliefs of other members.
