Near West Suburbs home educators learning group

Do you home educate your child, but you and your child(ren) want more? Do you enjoy learning together, doing projects and hands on activities? Than this group is for you!! I am looking to form a group of families who want to share their talents and resources and provide fun and educational classes and clubs for their kids. This is a secular group, but all are welcome. I hope to form a multicultural group where people can learn from each other and provide a positive community for their children. My vision for the group is to meet about twice a week offering different classes or clubs.Such things as book clubs, hands-on geography and around the world cooking. Ideas for classses would be planned by the members and most likely run in their homes. This group is geared for children 6-12 (younger siblings welcome) Looking forward to meeting everyone!
