The mission of our group is to provide opportunities for homeschooled children to connect with other kids, do joint field trips, and to serve as a resource for new and seasoned homeschool families. If you currently homeschool or are thinking about homeschooling and would like the opportunity to connect with others on this journey, then this is a group for you! We're currently accepting new members, and requesting a $5 membership fee (payable by paypal or cash) to help cover the Meetup Group fee.

This meet up provides social opportunities to homeschool tweens and teens in the near western suburbs.  Any member can set up an event. A further goal is to support the creation of a North Star Teens replica project. An alternative learning center, not a school, but a community center where teens 12 and up can work together on projects, learn together, work on projects alone, be supported by mentors and staff, take classes taught by experts and passionate practitioners.
